Hide and Seek is designed to improve your little one’s language of location and distance.

Method

Hide and Seek is a game with which most people are familiar where one person hides and another person must find them. This could also be played with a favourite toy or other object which is hidden and then found by another person. In this version it is not just about finding the person or object but specifically the language used while playing the game. While playing Hide and Seek try to use words such as closer or nearer and farther away from the object, hotter when close to the person or cold when your little one is farther away and encourage them to use the same language. This will allow your little one the develop the language of location and of distance from an object or person.
