Letter of the Day
Engagement Time
Half to All Day
Letter of the Day is designed to improve your little one’s letter recognition skills and to reinforce letters with which they may be experiencing recall difficulties.
Materials Required
Method
If there are certain letters your little is having trouble remembering choose that letter as the Letter of the Day and spend the day doing and eating things which start with that letter. If for example they were having trouble with ‘C’ you may wish to spend the day doing things such as eating cereal, colouring in, cooking a cake, cleaning your little one’s bedroom or chatting to grandma. In addition you could further reinforce the letter by seeing how many times you can spot that letter that day with the winner being the first to see the letter of the day 100 times.
Note: The Letter of Day can be reinforced by creating a Personal Dictionary Page for that letter that day.
