Mark My Mistake is designed to improve your little one’s observation and language skills as they identify your mistakes and tell you how to correct them.

Method

This is a very simple activity which will let your little one see that you can be silly and have fun with everyday activities. For this activity you merely make deliberate mistakes and ask your little one to point out your mistakes throughout the period of play be that 10 minutes or 10 hours. You may choose to try to pour your milk without opening the bottle; put tomato sauce on your toast rather than strawberry jam; put on gumboots to go to the shops; write your shopping list with a carrot - absolutely anything which is out of the ordinary and will make your little one laugh that you are soooo silly. Have your little spend some time making the mistakes - just be careful they are deliberate mistakes and not accidents waiting to happen.
