Tooth Fairy Box

Engagement Time

20 Minutes

Tooth Fairy Box is designed to improve your little one’s artistic ability while providing a perfect opportunity to discuss what happens when a tooth falls out.

Materials Required

Tooth Fairy Box
  • Tooth Fairy Box template printed or glued onto cardboard.
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Coloured pens, pencils, crayon or paint.
  • Glitter if desired

Method

The Tooth Fairy is a wonderful idea for allowing children to deal with losing a tooth with the story being that the Tooth Fairy is taking their tooth to the heavens to make a new star. While some parents have a dedicated silver box or painted bag in which little teeth can be placed this activity allows your son/daughter to feel that they are choosing to give their tooth to the Tooth Fairy rather than having it taken or bought from them. As such your little one can colour the template, cut it out, fold it and glue it to make their own Tooth Fairy Box so the Tooth Fairy can find their tooth easily over night to take it back to the heavens to make a new star for them to see the next night.

Note: This activity ties in wonderfully with View the Stars.
