What Is Missing From My Set

Engagement Time

10 Minutes

What Is Missing From My Set is designed to improve your little one’s observation skills, short term memory and language skills as they name objects they can not see.

Materials Required

What Is Missing From My Set

Either a common set of items such as a fork, knife and spoon Or a random set of items on a tray or plate

Method

For younger children you can simply ask them to tell you which item is missing from a common set of items such as their pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers when one is taken away or give them a selection of random objects (4 to start with) and then remove an item and have them tell you which item is missing. Note: Having you little one tell you all the items before you remove any will make it easier for them to play this game and improve their short term memory.
